The top 2 that come to mind are Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit. You know when you see them in the ring, they will wrestle very good matches. They will put over young talent.

Eddie Guerrero is another one with those same credentials as Benoit and Angle.

Taker doesnt wrestle 5 star matches but he will do the occasional Job. He put over Brock big time and did the Job to Cena

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

I would include Jamie Noble on that list.

And both Trish Stratus & Victoria have good work ethics. They're not nearly on the level of joshi workers - not even close - but they've both gone from being essentially just fitness models, and have transformed themselves into pretty decent workers given their skill level.

I bitched about the Cena job in another post.

As for putting over Brock......that's a joke. The Hell in the Cell match, granted, probably did a lot to put Brock over. But their match at Unforgiven? An embarassment. There was NO reason for Brock to not go over clean, and that was the original ending - until Taker had the finish changed so as to not make himself look weak.

Everybody is always on HHH's ass, and probably rightfully so, but Taker seems to get away with a lot of political bullshit simply because he's been there forever and he's a "locker room leader."

Everybody is always on HHH's ass, and probably rightfully so, but Taker seems to get away with a lot of political bullshit simply because he's been there forever and he's a "locker room leader."


The only difference is that Taker earned everything he has on his own. He didn't get a free ride in the WWF. He started out as a no body. And it took him quite a while to get anywhere in the business. And he also doesn't have such a huge ego as Trips. He knows when to give up on something. Christ if he didn't then we might still have a Kane vs Taker feud going on.

I'd say Trips is a good worker...he makes it out of his way to make it to all meeting to badmouth every wrestler they want him to work with, then hangs out with Vince and badmouths everyone again, then goes out with Steph and works on her to make her think he's a man and that's not a roll of quarters in his trunks
