Who cares if the FCC had a tight leash hold !??!?! The Shock aspect isnt what made Opie & Anthony so Great. It was the atmoshpere and their comedy. It was like a bunch of cool freinds sittin around drinkin beer and havin a great time. It was the way the ragged on eachother, Ant's crazy funny stories, Jimmy's quick and witty remarks, Opie's ability to make the fans apart of the show. That was what made O&A great and That is the reason why they have so many loyal fans, cause the fans were apart of the show.

You listen to that lonely, broken of a man, mentaly screwed up howard stern who constantly talks about how he wishes we was john stamos and how he invented all these great shows and ideas before anyone else with his lackeys telling him how great and wonderful he is for 4 hours every morning. Listen to him and you'll know why O&A were pulling his ratings away

guys, i would NOT be surprised at all if not only is js telling the complete truth, but anthony is right. here's why:

i remember on OA.com, back in the good 'ol days of middle school, opie and anthony were off for about 2 weeks while they were negotiating their contract.

someone made a post EXACTLY like this one, saying they meant anthony at some event in boston and anthony said they were getting a huge contract and would be syndicated all over the country next week, and sure enough that week it happened.

i don't understand the viewpoint that OnA are the reason Ron and Fez aren't on in NY anymore. They wouldn't have really suceeded in the first place if thye didn't have OnA as a lead-in for nights (where they excelled). Sure when OnA were fired WNEW turned to crap, but without them it would've never been anything but crap. You're blaming OnA for being popular basically, and that's just stupid. It was Infinity's decision that R and Fez weren't strong enough to carry a station, that is in no way OnA's fault.

Because, technically they weren't fired or found in breach of contract, their show was canceled, so they still have to pay them. If both parties agreed, Infinity could pay out the rest of the contract and release them but it seems that they would rather not have them as competition at another company, or maybe they are just cheap and don't want to pay all that money at once.
