Ron and Fez on WFAN again

Hector from Harlem called today asking if the yankees should trade for some young relief pitchers like Ron Bennington and Fez Whatley. Later in the show Sid said the show was getting more Ron and Fez callers than Islanders callers.

Simply classic. Need to work on that accent a little there hector. I heard that this monring around 11. I started to laugh. You can tell Sid gets a kick out of it, but Jodi is totally annoyed by it. Do we have somebody takeing claim yet.....East Side?

Yes it was I again. I would say my accent was a mix of Al Pacino from "Scarface" and Eric Stolz from "Mask." I still think my trade was plausible- a three-way trade: Eric Almonte to the A's for Miguel Tejada to D.C. for Ron & Fez back in NYC. Re-Infiltration!

just checking, today on the Michael Kay show a caller got through and said that he was wondering about Vincent "The Pick" something and then asked Michael kay if he ever had a blumpkin. I almost drove off the road as michael kay just said okay, lets move on and then they stopped the calls for a while. Nothing about Ron and Fez just wondering....

I'll assume this was East Side Dave but anyway, the call was about the Yankees and it went on a tangent about trading Nick Johnson for Ron and Fez!

Jody & Sid got hit again today! They were talking about the lady golf players playing on the mens tour when a caller named "Rory" called in and said that the only way to settle it would be to have some of the ladies mud wrestle on the ron & fez show. Then he started singing "Billy, Billy Staples.... (to the tune of Flintstones, meet the Flintstones). Both Jody & Sid were good sports about it. They both laughed and even asked the caller what he was singing and they let him sing it again without cutting him off. They laughed about "Rory" being a new name to them and being able to get thru the screener. It was fun to hear them getting a laugh out of it - something that Mike Francesca would NEVER lower himself to do (I hate that fat self-centered ego-maniac!)
