What's with their voices?

I haven't heard the guys on an actual radio since they left NY, and what I have heard hasn't been perfect quality, but did anyone else notice that there seems to be alot of echo when they talk. Is that the result of poor quality audio, or is that the same idea that Don Geronimo wanted to do with the shows on WNEW?

I remember when they started in the new studios in NY everything echoed and sounded like shite.

Really, I didn't know that, but is the echo thing deliberate? I wish they'd get rid of that. It's too "CBS-FMish"

You aren't far off when you say "CBSfm ish"
When they do their show from NY they broadcast from the CBS building...and that echo is programed into the board...me thinks.
