That is sad, but the link didn't take me to that story (happens a lot with wrestling site, oh well).

But what I did see disturbed me, then made me very happy:

Ernest "The Cat" Miller defeated Johnny Swinger
A not-so-good match with Cat and Swinger blowing a lot of moves. Cat gets the win with The Feliner. Cat looked to have busted open Swinger hardway with his Feliner kick, as a towel was placed on Swinger's nose after the match.

Mark Jindrak defeated Norman Smiley
Yes, Black Magik is working prelim matches for WWE it seems. This was a good match to wash the bad taste out of our mouths from the last match. Smiley looked pretty good and his work was very solid. Jindrak looked very well himself. Jindrak gets the win after a clothesline from the top rope.

I hope Swinger was on the show just as a favor in his hometown. I HATE this guy.

Jindrak being on the way back seems interesting. It would be nice to see some of the Thrillers (other than Palumbo) finally make their way to TV.

But, more importantly, NORMAN SMILEY possibly making WWE TV in the future makes me very happy. The guy works a good match, and is funny as hell. I hope this wasn't a one-time only deal.
