Those's SOB's almost allowed for a strike and were hiding almost $700 million dollars as well as raised fairs.
What does everyone think of the MTA situation now? Does any of the new information change the views towards Bloomberg now?

No, my support for Bloomberg remains unchanged by MTA's deceit.

MTA sucks ass. Always have, always will. I don't get involved in any of the political aspects of my job. I go to work and I come home. I just want to get paid. I have absolutley no problem dealing with the public. My problem is that I work with a bunch of uneducated lowlifes.

Thank god for once, we finally got some oversight from the government into one of these government/private company hybrids.
Thank god we finally got two of the most important people when it comes to finacial matters in this state, (city and state comptroller) to do what I thought their job is.
Any rational NY'er questions how the MTA could've been in such a horrible "deficit" when we see the amount of packed subways and lirr's on a daily basis. I guess these comptrollers were wondering the same thing we all were and used their power to take a look.

What was sickening to me was how Bloomberg would not get involved in the MTA workers strike. The moment the songs ended on Broadway he was involved.
Finally they are now seen as the greedy pocket pickers they all are.
I am, and always will be,in a state of sulky dissatisfaction.

I am just cutting down the days until I get a car. I'm getting tired of being a hostage I have to take the train to get were I am going, screw the MTA. There should be some kind of investigation if the news about over 100 million is true. Raising fares when they do not automatically need too

one should always question government. why, they will always lie.
my question, be4 the fair hike was approved, was what happened to the surplus just a couple of years ago?? they made such a big deal out of it. where did this surplus go?? into their bigwig pockets.
since the MTA is state controlled does that mean pataki told the MTA to do this, that way he gets re-elected??
hmmm...
god is an absentee LANDLORD!!!
