View Full Version : Raven vs. Jeff Jarrett: Predictions

...the most anticipated World Title match in TNA history!

It's been hyped for about a month now and I have not been this excited for a title match since... well... I'll get back to you.

The numbers continue to increase against Jeff Jarrett and his NWA/TNA World Title. How can he hold the title past next week? He already has to contend with the likes of S.E.X., D-Lo Brown, AJ Styles, The Truth, Watts (maybe) as well as The Gathering and now the Extreme Brotherhood has aligned with Raven?

It's Raven's destiny and it will happen. He will be the next NWA TNA World Title.

What do you think?

...

How about taking this into account before you voice you opinion:

*The numbers game continues to increase.

*Will Vince Russo have any part of this huge main event? [Note: Although last night, he accidentally appeared on camera for a split second backstage when Goldylocks was interviewing Father James Mitchell.]

*What about this happening? Russo and S.E.X. helps Jarrett keep the World Title and this will be the start of a titanic feud between S.E.X. and the Extreme Brotherhood?

*Was the Extreme Brotherhood, really the "mother of all bombs"?

*Possibly Sting will appear and claim ownership of the NWA World Title?

...

Whatever you will say, next week is shaping up to be arguably the best TNA PPV ever.

It already has this World Title match scheduled as well as Kid Kash vs. The Amazing Red for the X-Division Title and I believe the Tag Team Titles are on the line with the "X-Division Dream Team" Amazing Red/Jerry Lynn vs. Triple X. They'll probably throw in another insane TNA extreme match into the mix between Team Extreme and The New Church.

So, if you guys and gals are betting people, who do you have your money on: Raven or Jeff Jarrett?

I think that Raven is the way to go. NWA could benefit greatly if they build the fed around Raven. It'll be the closest thing to ECW that we'd have since......well, ECW in 1997. I just pray that Vinny Ru does not get involved. He should keep his mug off TV.

If nepotism has it's way, Jeff Jarret will remain the Heavyweight Champion, but if TNA is showing how good it can really be, then it will most likely be Raven. Although, you can't be too certain with anything TNA does. That's why I like them, they have a great unpredictability factor.

OKay, is it just me, or does anyone else have a haunting feeling about next week. I can not help but to have flash backs of Shane Douglas winning the Eastern Championship Wrestling Title and proclaiming it to be Extreme Championship Wrestling. How great would this be for Raven to do something similiar after winning the title?

With all the buildup, I don't see how they can't give Raven the title.

Besides, while I'm a fan of the guy, the title needs to get off Jarrett for a while.

It might be a good motivation tool to WWE expatriates - come to NWA, and we'll treat you like a true contender.

This is all a side issue, but I really always thought that WCW missed the boat with Raven. They were too busy pushing hasbeens like Hogan and Nash, even though Hogan hasn't drawn a dime in the business in a good decade or more, and Nash has NEVER drawn a dime in the business (outside of maybe the first year or so of the NWO). If I had been running WCW at the time, I would have absolutely pushed Raven as one of the top heels - he clearly shows that he has the skills and charisma for the role.

i think they pushed him goodly. He could've been a top heel but it probably would've ruined him if he was fighting guys like Kevin Nash and Lex Luger up top. I like him as a midcarder because that always meant that there would be three good matches, his and the cruiserweight title match and probably the main event.

oh yeah, i hope raven wins because keeping the belt on J-E-Double F J-A-Double R-E-Double T for too long isn't good. But if Raven wins he needs to keep the belt for at leats 3 months.
(but JJ will win because of all the feuds he has)

I have a feeling that Jusit Credible will join S. E. X. just because his character works better as a heel, but it wouldn't surprise me to see all of them join S. E. X. and clear out some of the "dead weight" if the faction...

Apparently you didn't see TNA last week. Apprently Team Extreme are now Heels as they joined with Raven to beat the shit out of Jeff Jarrett.

So it came and went... Jarrett survived and with all that interference from S.E.X., Extreme Revolution and the Gathering?

Then Sabu returned to fight off the Extreme Brotherhood.

Solid match.

It seems that next week "Anarchy in the Asylum" will be Raven's chance to get his destiny around his waist.

Raven should have won dammit!
