I've actually got two stories for one thread, so I'll share them both.

#1 - Have you ever gone with your girlfriend or boyfriend to Hooters outside of a RonFez event? Meaning, just out of the clear blue sky, you guys ended up at Hooters on a date, just hanging out?

I've pretty much assigned Hooters as a no-fly-zone for me. I do have to work there for different promotions, but I can't ever go there on my own free will. Boob obsession + attention deficit = I can't ever ever focus and I completely lose my mind.

I swear to God, it once took me 20 minutes to order a fuckin' hamburger at Hooters because I was so distracted.

And these are the Hooters restaurants in Jersey. JERSEY. You don't want to know what happened to me when I was in Phoenix....

#2 - What's the worst restaurant or meal experience you've encountered when you were with your SO?

Last week, I was in a mall with my girl, and we decided to try this Buffet restaurant. I was going to get in touch with my inner-white trash self.

For 15 bucks, for the both of us, it was like, mind-boggling awful. Now, mind you, I've been in "Old Country Buffet" restaurants before, and it's really not that bad, there's some decent stuff in there. But this wasn't a chain store, it was a localized restaurant.

First, all you can eat sushi. I think we know where this is leading.

Second, gelatinous soups.

Third, really, really gross looking seafood.

I spent the whole lunch eating string beans and she had what looked safe on the salad bar.

AWFUL.

At the Tropicana in Atlantic City last month I went to Hooters with my girlfriend and our waitress had a severe case of Terrets (sp?). She controlled it pretty well when taking our orders and talking to us (but you could see her start to shake so I knew she was gonna yell soon enough) but once she left the table she started yelling and it was really scary. The strangest thing about it was everybody in the place acted like it was totally normal but because I'm a shallow-minded person it wasn't normal to me. We ate as fast as we could and got out of there. The boobs were not a distraction but my terrets waitress was, that's why I won't go there again.

My wife really hates Stardust in the city. We used to always go and we used to like it. But my wife started to really hate it and I didn't realize that she did. So, the moron that I am, we went a few more times before I knew that she hated it.

We went to Le Bernadin a couple of nights ago. Their monkfish could have been better and they had run out of bone spoons for the beluga caviar. Awful. Hopefully Alain Ducasse will be better.
