I hate it when people say "How could you've not seen that movie?" There are some movies that people consider "classics" that I have never seen. Nor do I want to see.

-Top Gun
-Gone with the Wind
-Fiddler on the Roof
-Schindler's List
-Jurassic Park
-Lord of the Rings

I hadn't seen Top Gun until a few months ago, and there was nothing I hated more than people saying 'Oh man, how could you have not seen Top Gun?'. I got that out of the way thankfully, but I still haven't seen "Goonies" which most people consider weird.

It's the type of movie that if you haven't seen it by now, it doesn't matter. Kinda like Top Gun I guess.

I have seen TOP GUN hundreds of times. We used the LASER DISC to show off all the new Home Theater stuff at my store.

I have not even seen The Deer Hunter or Apocalapse Now yet. And those are 2 movies I've been meaning to see for years now. But no, I choose to watch Freddy got Fingered over and over again.

same here, and i havent the desire to see any of them, especially 'Gone with the Wind'. i did hear it had a happy ending, though.

I saw that movie and i though it sucked, it wasnt "THAT" good, and it was also really sad and a really not nice movie.

I've never seen alot of movies from the 80s/early 90s because I was too young and I just haven't taken time to see them. I actually rented Rambo over Thanksgiving because I had never seen it. Boy, was that a mistake.

I've also never seen Carlito's Way. But I've been meaning to. Check this out. I've seen Mean Streets and The Producers and hated them both. Hard to believe being that I'm a huge Scorsese and Mel Brooks fan.

I looove Top Gun, but when i havent seen a "classic", i tend to avoid it with a passion for some reason.

I am actually realy pissed that i saw Lord of the Rings last week. It was very imressive and all, but i feel weak for seeing it.

I haven't Top Gun either. Something about a young Tom Cruise that I just can't get into.
I haven't see The Godfather ,Deer Hunter,Platoon,Titanic. I refuse to watch any "classic" musical such as Sound of Music etc....

Wow a great little support group.

The only movie I've seen from the original post (other than being at someone's house and it was on) was Lord of The Rings. I then bought the DVD and threw away my bottle of Ambien. It's better than CSPAN-2 for immediate soporific effect.

Other things I've never seen:

Titanic
Friends or any shows like that (Bev. Hills 90210, etc.)
Any reality show like Survivor
Any "Get Married" show like Joe Millionaire
South Park
The prime time cartoon with the family that's all yellow.
I think I saw Star Wars when I was a kid.
ER
CSI
24
MASH
The Matrix
Schindler's List
etc. etc.

I do watch TV and go to movies. But when I play games like Trivial Pursuit I'll kick your ass until I get to the Popular Culture questions. The little pink and brown questions kill me.
