Would make for an interesting tournament.

I think it was probably Rene Dupree. He was very much a shining star in OVW... and he's not even 20 yet! His partner is Sylvain Grenier, who was the ''evil'' French-Canadian referee during the last Hogan-Rock match.

if people weren't so bitchy, Team Canada would've suceeded. The industry has fallen because of reactions like that one. No one complained about the anti-American angles when they were done in the early 90's. As marks slowly become "smarks", reactions go from naive hatred to annoying whining.

This french tag team is just being set up for "Mr. America" to feud with them. And therefore they will be crushed. Thanx Hogan {thumbs up}

I'm not complaining that the Un-Americans weren't a bad gimmick, it's just that for some reason, hearing Storm rant over and over again about how bad America is just got borring, I did like the fact that it opened up for the team of Regal and Storm who had were very good up until Regal's unfortunate illness. I am not a big fan of Test and I'm sure that they can make Christian better and bigger but that unfortunately won't be any time soon being that he is on RAW.

Actually, A World's cup Tag Tournament would be a good idea. Bring some other talent in for some one shot nights (The WWF did this a few times for the rumble), do a few raw/smackdown crossovers in the early rounds of the tournament on each show, then you can have the winning team get a shot at their brands tag title at the next ppv, lose, and jump ship to the other brand.

With the question from the Smackdown Survey about seing more ethnic talent this isn't such a far fetched idea.

I think you have a damn good thing going. Bring in the Iron Shiek, but call him Sodammn Insane (this is the WWF, they live on bad gimmicks). Then, in the middle of the match, drive a taxi down into the mid-ring, and get about ten Pakistanis to run over Kurt Angle. They've done it before... Slightly different of course, but not much. Also, somebody grab Komala the Angry Giant, or whatever that was. To bad Andre died... This could be fascinating. The Undertaker could redo himself as the REAL American hero, and bring in a wife, who could get kidnapped by the Fake American Hero, who could subsequently unmask himself as the Mexican Jumping Bean, only strangely Canadian.
You'd think this is too wacked for WWF, but it's all been done in recent years.
