Did anyone go to the Chiller Theatre Expo this weekend?

I stopped by Friday afternoon and night. Found a few good buys, and I met the Hot Rod, which is always cool. But overall, it seemed a little beat this time. I realize the spring show is a little slower than the fall, but it lacked zip to me. I think it's a strange time, as so many guys sell VHS, and everyone is not wanting to invest anymore in VHS and are waiting for the full DVD age.

Any thoughts on the Freakshow in the Swamp?

I went, usually go to every one. I liked it but you're right, it does seem to be losing that luster...can't wait for the Fall one

Yeah, it's not as good as it was!!! The first time I went they had all the kids from the movie Willy Wonka there.

The guests are the same bunch of wasted up celebrities. Mark Goddard who played Don West on the original Lost in Space is always there.

The Fall edition of the show is always better.

I went friday, if you happened to notice a guy wearing an Electric Hellfire Club T-Shirt that said "Drugs, death, and the devil. The Psychdelic sacrifice. For the love of Satan, someone had to pay the price" I wasn't there long, but most of my time was spent at the Troma Booth talking to Joe Fleishaker and deciding which dvd beside cannibal the musical i should buy (i ended up getting Tromeo & Juliet)
It was pretty cool, i can't wait till October 31st, because thats day 1 of the next Chiller. Should be fucking amazing
