All three actors have donned costumes in past "Star Wars" episodes, and in the case of Daniel and Baker, the thespians have loaned their voice talents to puppet and motion-control versions of their characters.


Stupid question from someone who is not a Star Wars geek: Does this mean they actually hired the original R2D2 to make electronic bleep noises in the last two movies? That seems pretty unnecessary.

What's funny is that Chewbacca was over 200 years old when he was zipping around with Han Solo. But yet I never pictured him to be that old but the Wookie has a long lifespan so indeed he actually wasn't that old for a Wookie and I'll be quiet now.
