Tonight I picked up Herr's Lime and Salsa chips. I will dispense with all the crap and simply state that these chips are the finest creation of the Lord God Almighty. Go out and try them. I ate a whole frickin huge bag of em.

Last night, I was looking at Herr's website-I was absolutely starving looking at it. You can buy those salsa and lime chips, and any other kind of their junk food off of the website. Herr's cheese puffs are the most delicious things known to man-there's some kind of chemical in there that's so addicting.

last summer my girlfriend ate so many lime tostitos and had so much lime in her Coronas that she broke out in some rash because her lime intake was so high...it was really funny......guess you had to be there

I must check them out.
I am a huge fan of salt and vinegar chips. My favorites used to be Humpty Dumpty (from Maine) but they're made in Canada now and are not as good.
The best salt and vinegar (the solution doctor's recommend most) are now definitely Herr's...although the availability is spotty.
Anyway Herr's rule.

In my opinion Herr's has the best "Sour Cream & Onion" chips.
The newest chips to come out that I thought was excellent was a few years ago; "RUFFLES Flavor Rush brand Big BBQ & Cheddar Flavor Potato Chips" they are so good.

Tostitos has had that touch of lime chip for a long while now (although it's really more than a touch...) and they're awesome. They also maked their baked tostitos in cheese quesadilla (too salty) and sour cream and salsa flavors. They're hard to find but they rule.
Really my favorite chip and salsa though is from trader joes. Their big two pound bags of chips are economical and reeally good (thick, good corn flavor, not greasy), and their peach salsa is the BEST. I used to think Newman's Own was the best jarred salsa and peach sounded so gay, but nothing beats trader joe's smoky peach... mmmm...

Everything from Trader Joe's is superior to everything else in the world. I even get my dog's kibble there (and his peanut butter flavored treats, he loves those).

Shit! Those are for dogs?! I was wondering about this new habit of scratching behind my ear with my foot I had picked up. Jeez.
Well...I must agree that Herr's new flavor of tortilla chips are spectacular and are closely followed up by Tostitos Hint O' Lime chips.
Chairman...Have you tried kettle cooked salt and vinegar chips? I believe that Cape Cod makes a Sea Salt and vinegar chips...THE BEST!

I miss Herr's!! They don't have them here. But i have tried the Lay's Salsa chips and I love them so I bet I would love those too.
I also love Salt & Vinegar chips, and Herr's are delicious....but I got turned on to SALT & PEPPER chips which were wonderful. I put salt and pepper on everything so when I tried these and loved them I was very happy. Although I haven't found any here yet, I got them in DC (Utz's) and in NJ (Herr's) I highly recommend them if you love pepper.
But Ruffles Baked Potato chips are my other fav....mmmmmmmmmm.

about 2 years ago Doritos came out with a Bar-B-Que flavored nacho. for approx 2 weeks as i would drive to work i would stop in the local conveniance store and get a bag. they had the most seasoning on a chip that i've ever witnessed, they were delicious. then all of a sudden as soon as they came they were gone. I have not seen them in 2 years, anywhere!

there is no doubt they were bar-b-que, they were not spicy nacho or any other flavor. has anyone else seen bar-b-que Doritos because if not i'm gonna feel like the omega man of bar-b-que doritos...

I really like those new Sun-micro-chips. They a less fattening than regular chips, but kinda hard to get the salsa on them. I can't get enough of them. They're not really all that sweet. Just sweet in the way that BBQ is sweet. But they don't have an overly BBQ flavor. The one lie on the bag is the "hot". They aren't the slightest bit hot. But they do go very well with the dip.

I'm not sure how easy they are to find. They are locally made (where I live), but I know they are available around the country. They were even featured on American Eats, on the History Channel.
