Jeff Jarrett the next Triple H

God damn it. Just got done watching NWA-TNA. The biggest match in the history of NWA-TNA with Jeff Jarrett defending the World Heavyweight Title against Raven. A match that has been heavly hyped for over a month and a feud that had been brewing since January. Now what happens? Raven has the entire ECW roster run in on his behalf, Alexis and Julio constantly interferring, and sEx coming out. This of course would make him the monster heel, but then what happens? Sabu runs in, hits a couple of moves, kills a fan, and Jeff gets unhandcuffed, and pins Raven. This is the third time that Jeff has been put in a match with huge hype, only to win in the end.

Judging by the reaction to the fans at the Asylum, they weren't happy with Raven's loss either. Jeff and the ref got pelted with paper and glasses at the end of the match. Does anyone else see Jeff Jarrett becoming the next Triple H with his power trip? Why not put over AJ Styles, D'Lo Brown and now Raven? You don't even have to let them win the title. Have a screw job finish or something. But give me a break. Drop the title Mr. Owner man.

Sorry everyone, I Just had to vent after I just watched one of my favorite all time wrestlers get screwed out of a title.

I think I know the reason why.

Jarrett has signed on to wrestle Sting in the summer WWA tour. The series is being promoted as "The WWA Champ vs. NWA Champ."

Frankly, they need to drop the title off of Jarrett fast.

Hey, I'd take Jarret over Trips anyday. I wish he would bring back his "chosen one" gimmick, I miss him El Kabonging people and calling them "slap nuts"....

but the best spot in the match was Sabu taking out the woman in the front row when he was jumping off the guard rail and running out of the arena.

This definitely wasn't the outcome that was best for NWA. Raven as World Champ made so much sense that I was shocked that he didn't win.

It just would have set up a few nice angles....Jerrett's return match (possibly in a cage b/c of all the outside help fomr this match), Sandman turning on him & setting up a nice feud, they even set up a tailor-made feud with Sabu by having him take out all the old ECW guys...but then, letdown.

I felt like I was watching Raw, just in a really small ring. The show was still good, and the final match was real good...but Jarret winning after such a good night left me feeling kinda like I did after HHH dropped the Katie Vick bomb on us after the great TLC tag match from last year....it just was the wrong way to go off the air.

You know that didn't really bother me except the "Heel Section" throwing all those newspapers in the ring and bottles.

Why do people have to throw shit in the ring? I was pissed too but come on now.

The weirdest thing was the look on Sabu's face as he tried to help the fattie up. Like oh shit, I have been here for two minutes and I already ripped off someones ear with my spike(Since he did have it in his mouth like a dog bone). Somewhere Chris Candido is holding his ear in pain.

I must disagree. Jarrett has proven that he can work in a main event scene, and he's a very underrated worker.

Comparing him to Greg Gagne is a true disservice.
