What is the name of this fashion trend? The J.Lo effect? It used to be back in the day that women would complain about looking at their butts but I guess it's okay now. Whoever thought of this must be raking in the dough right about now. Unbelievable!

A couple of ones I've seen are: Babyphat, workable, star and the symbol of it, too hot, bootyliacious are a couple that I can re-call right now.

Also, is this trend also confined to females as I have not seen them on ne1 else but women. But I wouldn't be surprised if some guy does wear them to say that he's starting a trend or being hip.

These have been around for years now...cheerleaders and chicks like that used to be the main people who wore them. It is getting a little out of control though.

they're ridiculous. if you have to put words across your ass just so people will notice it, you've got a problem. i don't care what age you are, or what weight, no one should be walking around with words on their ass.

and i do think that this mess of a trend is confined to woman, at least thus far. i think if i see a guy wearing them, i'll sodomize him... just to teach him a lesson.

I think one of my proudest moments was when I was flipping through an old Playboy at work with some co-workers (Thumbs up, bookstore!), and we came across a picture of a girl wearing a bikini bottom that had "COCKS" printed across the ass.
