I have to go to Wal-Marts for my job and check the illustrious Wal-Mart TV Network. I also worked there for 5 and a half years until I found the brighter pastures where I am now.
There was so much brainwashing and just plain CULT oriented shit, it was scary BUT educational at the same time. When our store opened I got paid for 36 hours one weekend to paint cartoons on the breakroom walls. I had that place by the BALLS.
WM will not sell Eminem BUT they will sell the 8Mile soundtrack and Movie and D12. Hmmm...

So there is NO Maxim or Stuff but newspapers at the front checkouts proclaiming Nuclear War next week and The World To Blow Up on Thanksgiving and stuff like that. Sure we adults know it is bullshit but how about the kids who don't know any better.
Wal-Mart employees are supposed to ID kids for buying stuff thatmaybe questionable. The warning comes on the screen but the employees do NOTHING! I see this shit all the time along with the laxadasical approach to a low paying job becasue WM is more concerned with filling their pockets and not their worker who make the business for them in the first place. For a high school kid, yeah, ideal job so you can get by. But I notice so many lifers there who are just "content" or can do no better and WM takes such advantage of that by cutting hours when you start to get paid to much or making up bullshit excuses that you have to be "let go".
For instance, the one store I cover has been in Warminster, PA for about 6 years now. There is a nother WM 12 miles south and 12 miles north and about 15 miles west. 3 miles away from the Warminster store there was a Bradlees that went out of business (hmmm) and a WM just shot up in there in the last year. The employees at the Warminster store were told to transfer or suffer cut hours or to just leave. How is that fair? Becasue Mr. Corporation want to have a store every 5 - 10 miles, people have to lose their jobs and/or start the job AGAIN at a lower wage while the fatcats in Arkansas get richer.
On my route when I started I had 6 Wal Marts within the city limits and suburbs of Philadelphia. By the end of this year I will have 12. 6 new stores in a little bit over 2 years. The goal for the end of this year is to have 85 NEW stores stretching from North Carolina to NYC. There are also plans for Wal Mart to open their own lines of conveinience stores to give the Wawa's, 7-11's, Quik Check's, Circle K's and On The Run's some stiff competition.
