New DVD's this summer and fall

I just saw that the Simpsons season 3 will be out in August and South Park season 2 will be out in June. I can't friggin' wait!!!!!!

If anyone is interested. Also coming out this fall that I am definately going to get are the Incredible Hulk series pilot, Lion King SE (I'm a sucker for Disney movies), and There's Something about Mary SE. Of course, this is not including the Indiana Jones movies.

How much of a difference is there between the South Park Season 2 and the DVD's that were previously out that had all the Season 2 episodes on them but only 3 a disc. Should I be motivated to buy the new box set since I already have the shows?

Do you mean the videos? I never saw a DVD set of season 2.

With all due respect, why do you guys buy DVD's of TV shows that are on the air? Is there commentary or other items that make these worth having?

I mean, how many different times of day can you see the Simpsons on air, or even Family Guy on Cartoon Network.

I do see why it's worth owning something like the Transformers, which is hard to find on TV, or even Good Times, but the new stuff is going to on constantly. Why not just tape it?

Again, I"m not judging, just curious.

I'm looking forward to South Park Season 2 in June.

Also, Indiana Jones in November.

It sucks we have to wait for the Special Edition of Lord of the Rings until November. The reqular edition is in August I believe.
