The truth is that all award shows are about Hollywood millionaires kissing other Hollywood millionaires asses and promoting themselves. They all live in an elitist world and they could not care less about the average working man.
It's all about the money, and these so called "stars" are self-absorbed, self-important and full of themselves. Just look at how they react when they win. You would think that they found the cure for cancer or contributed something to society. Many of the public are sheep and think that these "stars" are so wonderful, but in reality, they just want you to pay for 10 dollar movie tickets, 5 dollar Cokes and 6 dollar popcorn.
They live in a different world..not my world.

I totally agree with you Heckler, but Dan's got a great point...It's kind of a sad thing that even though it's annoying and sickening to watch...most of us would still love to be a part of it. Guess it's just a sad statement about society in general...wow, what a depressing post.
