we've discussed hero versus hero in hundreds of different scenarios. now i think we should discuss whaat trully makes a comic book worth reading....the villains. a good villain results in a good comic. so lets discuss marvel villains versus DC villains.

I'm not sure Apocalypse would take Darkseid. I've seen Apocalypse been taken down by Cyclops. Darkseid goes toe to toe with Superman.

i dotn see darkseid killing a mutant who has been alive since the Old Kingdom, and can control his molecular form. i mean apocaplyse bossed around mr sinister and that takes balls. darkseid always struck me as a pussy

but to b honest im a marvel boy through and through my DC knowledge is seriously lacking. ive owned a total of 3 DC comics in my life. compare that to hundreds of good old Marvel comics.

DC has got nothing. Superman is their ultiamte motherfuker. he does everything everyone else does and does it better. you dont need another hero. literally everyone is only 1% of superman. he travels through time, breaths in space, super fast, super strong, xray vioson, teleoscope vision, super hearing, flys, layzer vision, can hold his breath forever underwater, bulet proof, ice breath, huricane breath. some how he dies a couple times but some how comes back. DC has 1 guy thats it. no one else compares. Hes also the got the worst weaknesses. Sunlight, and green rocks fuk him up. a chip can kill him, or stik him in a dark room for a few hours.
At least marvel gives you veriety. Everyone has unique powers and shit. and each group has their own villians to fight unlike DC which you need to stik them all in the same room cause their losers(legion of doom vs super friends? can you get any gayer). I also think the Marvel cross overs are better. The single heros like punisher, and hulk, and blade and spidy mix in and out of the entire marvel universe creating some pretty good storys. (The best of coarse being the Carnage Saga) DC has superman go everywhere and win at everything. Marvel is the winner here

While DC really isnt just the one character product you make it out to be, i have to agree with pretty much every other point you made, the diversity is there, and your right the continutity does really interact well, as it was seen in the Maximum Carnage Saga as well as the Onslaught Crossover.

Well DC has problems with continuity with all those alternate Earths, but I still find their stuff really interesting.

Marvel has the more interesting villans I feel.

But, I find DC heroes a good read too. Batman, Nightwing, Green Arrow, and Green Lantern are great reads.
