Uh oh.
It's on the Drudgereport. It's supposedly a Washington Times article set to come out tomorrow. Bad stuff. Check it out.

What are we talking about here? One of those laser-pointer dealies or a Flash Gordon-type deathray?

Yes, he is hung like a horse. One female porn star describes having sex with Johneewadd as like giving birth.

Well it's a developing story set to come out tomorrow, so we'll see the full details then.

After all the talk on this board about "how crazy North Korea is", I'm surprised there isn't more concern for this.

Oh great. Not only do they have nukes, but they also have phasers. Next thing you know the Starship Enterprise will be bombing L.A.

EDIT: Lookie here:http://www.msnbc.com/news/912517.asp?0cv=CB10

EDIT: I'll wait until I read the Washington Post story before really commenting. Knowing Drudge, some NK soldier probably flashed a flashlight at the copter.

Nothing to worry about, I'm sure it was just a "pre-emptive warning". Maybe it's North Korea's version of "operation insert catch phrase here". Everyone go back to work now and do your job to fix the economy. Be a good American, ask No questions.

Is it like the laser Dr. Evil used in Austin Powers or the laser the aliens used to blow up the White House in Independance Day.

Something similar happened a few years ago. A U.S. Navy officer aboard a Canadian helicopter was temporarily blinded by a laser beamed from a Russian ship:

How come everybody in "G.I. Joe" used lasers? Didn't they have bullets in '85 or was "G.I. Joe" set in the future? What do you think, Roger?

You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have Korean sharks with freakin' laser beams attached to their heads.

Be a good American, ask No questions.

And what exactly should we be questioning?

This whole thing is still in the early stages. South Korea's President, Roh Moo Hyun (sp?) is visiting the US right now.

And what exactly should we be questioning?

That, in itself, is a question....

the answer, btw, is everything

They shot lasers because they were not allowed to shoot bullets. For some reason, the bullets had to be covered up with lasers. But, their guns still discharged emprty shell casings.

And nobody ever got shot in GI Joe.
It always hit their car, blew it up, and ejected them from the vehicle.
