Phil Anselmo.

He didn't let a little thing like Heroine addiction stop HIM from touring!

What the fuck does "MVP" mean when it comes to a band? The best musician? The most versatile musician? The one who banged the most poon?

It means what singular member made the most overall impact in their band's music and success.

Elvis Costello
I think Elvis Costello is a solo artist who just chooses to have The Attractions backing him. It's kind of like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band and George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers.

Sting was a great choice Blancostupido, but I have to go with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin. Without Jimmy there is no band.

We need everyone to keep spreading the word about Ron and Fez. Get you friends, coworkers, hell anyone you talk to get them to listen.

True, but this guy was the secret weapon -- bassist, keyboardist, writer and arranger:

This is true, but let's be honest, he's only really at his best with The Attractions...something clicks when they're together and it brings out the MVP in him...

If not him...Paul Westerberg or Paul Weller. Or Guy from Fugazi. Take your pick.

Yes sir AJ, you nailed it on the head baby. My exact thought. One of the great bass solos(Dazed and Confused) and piano solos(No Quarter) in rock history highlight a phenonmenal career. It's hard to name an MVP in this band, but Jones was quite simply invaluable to them.

I'd also lend a vote to Ed Van Halen. One of the 10 greatest guitarists ever also did a hell of a job on keyboards.

And for pure value, few have meant more than Marc Ford to the Black Crowes. Great albums with him, all timers in fact, and pure shit without him.

Bon Jovi Fan Since Day ONE!
