Ever since I installed this router on my comp its been slower on the net

I thought that shot wasnt supposed to happen. Isnt the whole purpose of the router was so I can share my internet connection with another comp and It would be the same speed as a regular cable modem

Sometimes my internet gets really slow, so i unplug the router for mabe ten seconds. That usually helps.

are you sure its the router? you unplugged it and it was fast again? seriously, a router doesnt slow you down.

If you are doing something like downloading music on one of the router and your doing something else like playing a game on the other, it can slow things down even if you have dsl. My friend experiences this all the time.

If both computers are using the internet at the same time, you'll experience slowdowns as you're using the same amount of bandwidth with twice the amount of computers on the line.
