I believe I've said this before.

I find it incredibly rude of people to come out and not introduce themselves and I also find it rude on the part of those that don't introduce them if they're shy.

I'm not a wallflower at Bar 9, and I think I walked back and forth from smoking to the back enough times that it could equal a marathon.

I said hello when I got there to everyone, could it have hurt to say hey this is so and so.

I'm not directing this at anyone in particular, it just happens so fucking often and it's the most ridiculous thing. Why bother to show up at events and not meet the people you interact with all the time?

i dont wanna start a big fight over this but there is another side to this. if you see a person that you have never seen before would it hurt to go up to them and intodruce yourself? or at least say hi. you have to remember that you have been going to these things for a while and when it is someone's first time out they sit there thinking theyre the odd ball out because they are the only person in the room who doesnt know a soul. its much easier for you to go up to them than it would be for them to go up to you.

I see the flipside, but I don't know that everyone that goes to bar 9 is a board member. I said hello to him and you and you waved back. I figured he was a friend of yours. In that case, the thing to do would have been introduce him.

I'm not fighting about this. I was new to events too once. I stood at the bar for an hour before finding the nerve to introduce myself to someone. Brain then introduced me to almost everyone at the bar. I also remember as I left that I saw you and said, I didn't get a chance to meet you but I'm silera.

It's not a fight, it's just a problem that I've noticed since attending rf events versus oa events. Maybe this is a younger board, or there are more shy people here. Who knows? I just find it really annoying.
