I always like the section of Wizard magazine where they would cast the comic book movie. So I thought it would be fun to see how you would cast the movie.

You can do ANY comic book and use ANY movie star.

I'll start the thread off with The Fantastic 4

Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
Played By:

George Clooney. Hey I know he ruined the Batman movies but I'm going solely on the look. Come on, you don't even have to dye the sides of his head.

Invisible Women
Played by:

Cameron Diaz. I think it would work...plus any reason to get Cameron Diaz in a tight leather body suit works for me.

Jonny Blaze/Human Torch
Played By:
http://www.eagleseyemagazine.com/articles/celebrities/NewActors/SWilliams.jpg
Seann William Scott. Human Torch is supposed to be in his early 20's and a bit of a goofy character. I think Seann William Scott would be perfect.

And Finally Ben Grimm/The Thing
Played By:

Jon Favreau. I know he was in DareDevil but so what? Of course The Thing and Human Torch would be CGI, but he would make a good Ben Grimm.

Do you disagree with any of my suggestions? Lets see who you would pick.

I must say that Sean William scott would be too goofy for the human torch. He might drag the role into Jar Jar territory.

EDIT: The oldest brother from Malcolm in the Middle would make a good Human Torch. I dont't know his name, so I can't get a pic.

Abba Zabba, you my only friend

The oldest brother from Malcolm in the Middle would make a good Human Torch. I dont't know his name, so I can't get a pic. When in doubt, use IMDB.com. You dont need the persons name, just type in the movie/tv show.

Anyway, the person you are thinking of is:
Christopher Masterson

I think he would be better then Seann William Scott as well. Good find!

well ive always loved ghost rider

so....
as johnny blaze: ill actually kiefer Sutherland (but hes gotta grow his hair out)

as danny ketch: Ed Norton

danny's sister: tara reid

zarathos: (voice acting: Keith David

id like for the movie to be a trilogy starting with Johnny Blaze, then Danny Ketch, and finally the 2 together in the third installment battling zarathos ala Midnight Sons, and they find out theyre brothers....ah that would b beautiful

ps pants i couldnt find any pix of teh characters from teh comic so if u can add them feel free

I hate George, so I wouldn't put him as Fantastic. But I don't know who I'd stick in his place.

I like Naomi Watts, from The Ring, better as Sue Storm. Not only is she better-looking than Diaz, she's a LOT more talented.

I think Orlando Bloom would be a cool Jonny Storm

Favreau could be a pretty good Thing, considering that Thing would largely be CGI. Just make sure Favreau can pull off a cool, gruff sounding voice.

As for Dr. Strange, I think Johnny Depp would be a pretty good Strange. He's been good in other supernatural-themed films.

I like the idea of Keifer Sutherland as Ghost Rider. He'd work in that role, now that 24 proves that he can come off as a legitimate action star.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled...was convincing the world that somehow Kiefer Sutherland could act.

Awesome calls, Pantera!

I always agreed with Wizard's call on the casting of and older Wolverine: Clint Eastwood (even though he is much too tall).

whenever i read teh comics, ive always used clints voice as wolvies....sorta like the cartoon fox had in the mid 90's. i think all those voice actors were right on target.

Ben Browder from Farscape would make a better Reed Richards.

I didn't see anything, I didn't hear anything, I wasn't there and if I was there I was asleep.
