Since the early spring departure of Cousin Deke from its morning show, WMMS/Cleveland has been auditioning talent to pair with Tom Megalis and Rick Eberhart. Former WAAF/Boston afternoon driver Rocko-the only personality invited back for a second week of on-air tryouts - has passed the audition. The Buzzard Morning Show with Rocko & Tom debuts on June 2. "Rocko auditioned for two weeks and he was clearly the guy with the best Cleveland essence," `MMS PD Jim Trapp told FMQB. " He just had that natural blue collar Rock n' Roll vibe. We were looking for someone who could make Cleveland come alive in the speakers and Rocko delivered.

This would make sense except for the fact that Rocko was fired while O&A were still on the air, and Ferrall got dropped after O&A got cancelled.

I stand corrected, excellent memory. However, I still say it SEEMS longer. Ferrell is entertaining and was actually missed. As for Rockhole, the only thing that was missed from him were his calls to O&A.

I used to list to that fat turd Rocko in Boston. I couldn't stand him. Only the wonderful city of Cleveland would think that he brought the "essence" of their city to life.
