Hey man. Get in touch with me on AIM. I do alot of fishing up on the Westchester/Putnam county lines. I'm supposed to be putting a boat on the Cross-River reservoir. If you have a NY State Permit, get in touch and we can go a few times. I went Crappie fishing a few weeks back. The weather is killing the spawn. No fish were even into the shallows yet.

theres nothing like fishing! Its unfortunate that the weather hasnt been nice enough, but once it does get to be summer , or rather spring if we are lucky, Ill defanlty be doign dome fishing. I wondering if it would even be a good idea to get a whole crowd going and go out and rent some boats , or even a charter boat is good for me.Im down here on LI. As far as what I go fishing for is concerned, Fluke is comming up.

I fish a ton, but mostly salt water fly-fishing for stripers. Caught my first albacore last summer off of Montauk; that ruled! I usually take a trip out west to do some trout fishing about every other year; I went two years ago to Colorado to fish on the frying pan and roaring fork rivers and caught rainbows and browns that were nearly 20 inches long (wooo) I wish I had some photos. Hopefully this August I'll be heading out to stay on my friend's ranch on the bitterroot river in Montanta - haven't been fishing there since four years ago!
fly fishing is the way to go!

best places i ever fished were polmerstan and rice lake in canada.. you could see 35-40 feet down, the water was crystal clear...the only thing disapointing about the trips were the evil french canadians that tried to steal money from me by not thinking i knew the currency rate at the young ripe age of 10...momma didnt raise no fool

I don't get to go often but I love going after land-locked salmon up in the Allagash Waterway in Maine. It's quite a drive (17 Hours) but it's worth it.
Being on the island now, I either go out to Montauk or down to Captree State Park and take a party boat out over night!
