Matthew Lillard deserves an Oscar

Seriously! Okay maybe not an Oscar, but he at least deserves some kind of award. I was rewatching Scooby-Doo last night (I know, I know) and his portrayal of Shaggy is absolutely fantastic. The movie itself was pretty bad, but it's worth watching it to see him. I don't think a better cartoon character to live action transformation has ever been done. I've always considered him kind of annoying, a low rent Jim Carrey type, but after watching this I gained a new respect for him.

yea definitely and the tongue in cheek pot jokes during the first third of the movie as well.

but ive always liked him. in scream he was great, come on "peer pressured" that was classic.

You're right cause I had been in total friggin' awe of him until I saw a live action Shaggy.

Rob Lowe played a MUCH better and funnier Shaggy on SNL a few years back. Lillard deserves glass-filled Jello.
