With all the legal troubles XPW is having and their inability to pay wrestlers, I predict The Franchise will enter NWA TNA within the next month or 2 and become the leader of the X-Treme revolution.

TNA would be a great fit for Shae Douglas because there are alot of ex WWE wrestlers there who have done shoots against the WWE and the Franchise always hs something bad to say about McMahon.

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

I hope he does sign. I haven't seen any shows of XPW, but a friend of mine says it sucks ass. I've alway been a big fan of "the Franchise" and i think he would be a good addition to the NWA:TNA roster. I wish he was on good terms w/ the WWE, he would be a great uppermid-carder for them as well.

Actually, Shane has something nasty to say regarding just about every company and person he's ever worked for. I believe he actually trumps Bret Hart as the most bitter man in wrestling. Of course, like Bret, there are some things he has every right to be bitter about.

Shane won't leave XPW yet. He has a very lucrative deal. Whether it works out or not.

Just because someone has something to say, doesn't mean they SHOULD say it.

NWA really needs to move away from that shit. It just makes the product look small and ridiculous. Giving Douglas, or anyone else for that matter - say, Piper - the mike and letting them cut some anti-WWE promo is nothing but a waste of time. That's time that could be spent furthering storylines or putting on a good X-division match.

I can understand if it's a situation like with D-Lo - he shows up a mere matter of weeks, days even, after being fired from the WWE. Okay, you can make an argument that it's current and it works. But Douglas? Yeah, let's hear him rehash the entire Cliq thing again.

As far as him signing with them: I need to know how good he is in the ring still. I've never bothered with XPW (I'll be DAMNED if Black is getting any of my money), so I don't know if Douglas has totally fallen apart. Like he had started to do in the latter days of WCW.

If Shane sign's with TNA and they push him right. Look for him to become champ and get them a T.V. deal. They don't call him "THE FRANHISE" for nothing.

Who says he has to rehash the Cliq thing again? Couldn't he just go there because he kicks ass? He'd be a great addition to the TNA roster. He could come back claiming the title is his and saying "I never lost it. I put it in the garbage". There's an angle he could work with. He'd be right in the thick of it from the get go.

Yo HTH, you are wright a fued between Shane and Flair would've been great but they probably would have killed each other because they hate each other so much.

They did this during the Millionaires Club vs. The New Blood angle.

My sources tell me that there is some interest in Douglas but don't get your hopes up just yet.

Apparently he is not in tip top shape (have not watched XPW so your guess is as good as mine) and if used in TNA he would basically be in a managerial position like Paul Heyman. Or could reform the Triple Threat for another reincarnation but maybe that has run its course.

Hell he has burned more bridges than almost every superstar before him and we really don't need another ego like Jarrett and Levesque to screw the younger workers from ever reaching the top of the industry.

My opinion: Stay clear of Douglas and raid ROH!

Match 5: Ric Flair vs. Shane Douglas

Ric Flair is fighting this match in his street clothes, and he leaves his watch in the corner. Shane Douglas, the lone holdover from the revolution comes out and Flair starts to go right for his gut, Douglas decks Flair, and tosses him out of the ring. Douglas hits Flair into the guardrail. Flair whips Douglas into the guardrail. Flair throws Shane into the ring, Flair hits a lowblow. Flair whips the shirt off of Shane, and hits him with some vicious chops, Douglas fights back with a punch across the head. The men have a short brawl on the outside, and Flair hits another knife edge chop. Russo walks out with a baseball bat to lots of heat from the fans. Russo swings it right across Flair, and knocks him down, he hands the bat to Douglas, and this match is gone. Russo takes Flair's watch, and rolls Flair, and keeps the watch.

Winner: By DQ: Ric Flair
