What's with the U.S. lately. Since our victory in Iraq, it seems everyone in the government wants to flex the U.S. muscle around the world: 1.I've read today that some U.S. lawmakers are calling for another regime change in Iran or dropping covert operations there just to prove that we can go in and out anywhere as we please.
2. Rumsfield is exploring ideas that may change the way combat is fought now that include stuff seen in movies like a protective suits that changes texture during combat with sensors to warn of biological or chemical attack, multi-purpose tanks, devices in suits that can keep a soldier up for a long periods of time, more fighting and gathering re-con with drones. 3. Within the past week, U.S. has been extending broadcasting signals towards Cuban airwaves showing programs by Cuban exiles.

Can't the world run on it's own without us butting our 2 cents into every little thing that goes on? Isn't our actions just reinforcing the image of america as a big bully the other countries have of us?I'm concerned cause it seems the politicans are riding on a big high right now that they are getting too over confident. And how many of them have children in the military anyway? It seems it's always the little people that have to fight their battles for them and the head honchos get all the accolades for victory. I'm just afraid Bush's war on terrorism will turn out like his father's war on drugs (did we win that war anyway?).
