WJFK to Debut New Show Soon

Right before R+F, WJFK played a commercial saying that a new LIVE show would be on at 11 soon. I hope that means O'Reilly is getting the axe, but they didn't specify which 11(am or pm) I am assuming though, that it is going to be O'Reilly's shift.

Also they made a point of saying the show was going to be live, which makes me think its a show that they play on replay, but I can't think of what it would be.

If you have any knowledge, please share.

I'm beginning to think more and more that putting El Jeffe at middays is absurd. The show has been on for just a couple months, ONCE A WEEK. R&F at least has somewhat of an audience to follow them, small as it still may be.

I'm not really a fan of the show. Ive only heard it once so far, and my opinion now is that it's not that funny, it's very unpolished, and the planned bits are disasters. For instance, I have no idea whether the "George Bush's sperm" bit was funny or not, because I could barely decipher what was being said.

To make matters worse, the show that I heard featured a clip from R&F where our boys were talking to J-Dubs about his batch habits. It was pretty funny, and by comparison, made El Jefe's show seem even less funny and less professional.

Nevertheless, I think there's some potential there. They just need a lot more seasoning. Six months or a year on weekends when they can do what they want, get comfortable, and get a better feel for their audience without worrying about ratings could do them a world of good. Dropping them to the mid-days now, where they would be expect to perform in the ratings, would be a disaster.

But what the hell do I know. The first time I heard the Junkies, I was convinced they were going nowhere.

Goodness no, that would cost at least a few bucks a month. I think they spent their entire budget on Don and Mike's last contract. If Infinity wasn't run by tards, they would have a well designed, interactive website for the station as well as each individual show, instant feedback, and they would be running TV commercials on Comedy Central.
