In and out of commercial, and sometimes out of no where, there is this annoying shit with while words on a black background set to calming music.

The conversation is sometimes stupid facts about the cartoon you're watching, sometimes about upcoming shows, and sometimes just useless shit.

You're right, Moe. It's damn annoying. I guess this is some sort of thing to try and draw attention to Adult Swim now that the regular TV season is over with.

The bumpers suck. It seems like they're trying really hard to be cute and amusing with their little jokes. They fail.

But they replaced it with "Family Guy", which is better.

Not as intellectual, mind you, but better.

Home Movies will be back - they rotate it in and out of the Adult Swim block (and it was even on this past Sunday). We're supposed to be getting a few NEW episodes of the show sometime in the fall too, I believe.

But seriously, it starts out SO SLOW! Great, he's a nice guy who has people chase him. There's the side stories with the 2 women tracking him, the preacher/gunman, and his stupid brother Knives. (great name....not)

Like Grim told me, it doesn't pick up until close to the end of the series and I saw most of the last episodes. But why I waited that long for any real action I don't know.

What is it with Japanese shows? A gunman who doesn't want to kill. That samuri show is about a killer who swore an oath to not kill. Inuyasha is about a half demon who is getting held back by that girl, and his annoying past with the preistess. Even Goku doesn't LIKE to fight, and it takes a WEEK of build up to see a fight.

JUST KICK ASS!!!! If I want Drama, Dawson's Creek is on the WB every week.

Family Guy is funny, yes i do enjoy it but it will NEVER be as hysterical as Home Movies, it's not even close enough to poke it with a stick.

Ranma 1/2 is the bombshit. the old man was called Hoposi and is ranma and akane's dad's master. he fuked around with Shampoo's grandma. while training ranman and his dad went to a place of mystic springs (Jusenkio, i dont speak Jap so i cant spell it either). if they completed their training they could find a spring of power or some shit. they didnt and both fell into the wrong springs. on their way to the training ground they ran into the other characters that followed them for one reason or another and fell into different springs. the springs are cursed so when you get hit with cold water you transform into the shit that died there. warm water brings you back.

Well, most of the anime they put on Adult swim is adult drama anime, so it will develop slowly. If you just have mindless killing, it will excite people, but you won't get much out of it.

For example, DBZ is just fighting in basically ever episode, but there are no consequences and nothing really happens.

That's why so many people hate Dragonball Z and love stuff like inu yasha and trigun.
