i dont think its stealing. i mean we are forcing the record industry to produce good music. actually i should say gooda blums. im refuse to buy whole albums for one friggin song. if you produce a good product ill buy it even though i can get it for free. but maybe thats just me. but ive baught xzibits album because its a good album, its worth me spending my money. i mean the last ablum i bought was Gods Son...its just saying alot about the music undustry in general.

How should they do this? Physically force the artists they sign to write more than one or two good songs? You can't force the muse (usually), unfortunately. I'm not putting the onus on the artists, but I think your statement is a little silly.

you're taking something you would otherwise have
to pay for in order to possess it. Of course it's
stealing.

force the artists
see i dont blame the artists. the record companys are forcing the artists to drop an album every year. and it shouldnt b done like that. thats why theres the sophomore slump for almost every artist. tehir first album theyve taken (usually) years to compile, they rewrote, and changed everything until they themselves were satisfied. the companys are saying fuck that, put any old slop 2gether as quick as possible, so we can sell it. and they have crappy radio stations on their payroll like z100 and hot 97, so theyll b played no matter how bad the music is. and like i said ill buy any album that is worth my money. i have a ton of kool & the gang on my computer, but ive bought all their albums as well. actually ive bought them twice, once on vinyl and once on CD. y? cuz i feel they deserve my money.

Forced?
Look what the Beatles did in barely eight years.
Anything less than that is just lazy.

Just saw the kid on MTV News, feel bad for him and it showed him looking for a new job now that they took his savings. The ironic thing is he was applying at a record store.
