'JAG' Star Found Dead at Home

(Reuters) - Australian actor Trevor Goddard, who played Lt. Cmdr. Mic Brumby on the long-running CBS series "JAG," was found dead at his North Hollywood home of a suspected drug overdose, authorities said on Monday. Goddard's girlfriend discovered his body lying on a bed at about noon on Sunday, Los Angeles County coroner's office spokesman Craig Harvey said. A preliminary investigation indicated his death was a possible suicide by an overdose of as-yet unknown "illicit, illegal" drugs, Harvey said.

There must be more to this story. Why would a drug overdose be regarded as suicide?

Wasn't Brumbie's character phased out 2 seasons ago to maintain the sexual tension b/w the two main stars?

And yes, thank the random fluctuations in the quantum foam that it wasn't Catherine Bell.
