View Full Version : Did the Radio Chick Mock R & F??
Did anyone in the NYC area hear the Radio Chick this morning? They played the R & F intro, and seemed to be making fun of their show for whatever reason. Just was wondering if anyone heard it.

As far as I remember, Ron and Fez get along very well with CBC.

It sounded like a direct slap in the face to me. They called it a rejected theme song for her new tv show. The first time they played it, they went into ICP and then Butch imitated Fez. If they were not trying to mock RnF, they didn't do a good job. Mocking other radio shows is just pathetic.

Ah, if she did it's probably because she's pissed off that she can't ride the coattails of real talent like O&A and R&F. I mean, c'mon...

That should answer the question, right?

Why do people go out looking for Drama?
The Radio Chick was trying to debut the new theme song for her new metro channel show, I guess they played some other songs at the begining of the break that were supposedly rejected. Then they played an original song that was performed by Carmine Apese and Ted Nugent. As they were going to break, Butchy said that there was one more song that was rejected and they played an altered Cow and Chicken/ ICP intro where during which Chuck Nice said "Probably the greatest show intro ever" and did his Fezzy impersenation. CBC were good friends to R&F and Chuck used to show up drunk alot on friday nights when they were still at the station together.
No Drama here.

See, that's why I was confused on whether they were mocking or not. I don't know the history between the two shows. I guess that clears up all of my questions.

I interpreted it that they were not mocking them, but referring to them in a humorous way (sort of kind hearted ribbing between co-workers). I thought it was a funny callback.
if memory serves, o+a had issues with rc, and with stern, and with don and mike but no one ever has problems with r+f. Even D+M the other day were "Fake mocking" the boys about how the mid day hour they're doing is "such a great move" ha ha ha - then they bitched about the company screwing r+f and they should just move them to mid days. I didnt take that mocking as serious either - D+M know that R+F play the game with the company and if the company says jump they jump.
don't read too much into what the Chick did today - it was in fun.

I guess that answers it. I knew CBC didn't have a problem with R & F in the past, but it seemed a little strange to me.

Not sure, and I always wondered about this one:
If Helen Keller falls in the woods and theres no one there to help her up, does she make a sound?

Ron and Fez play very well with others - Ron even made mention a couple of weeks ago, when talking about a news story, mentioned some information he had heard that morning on Stern, just sort of matter-of-factly.
I about shit - another reason why I love them.

I don't know now-a-days what the hell is going on. I saw the comercial for Leslie Gold's Tv Show, and i must say it will not be on the air long. She has a following, but not as huge as other radio personalities who don't have TV shows. Also, whats that show supposed to be like? If its her in studio, its going to suck. Stern has been doing that on E! for years now, and he even had a show back on WWOR in New York (which is now UPN) and that show bombed. But stern's E! show is unwatchable, and if the chick does that similar format two things will happen, A) the show will bomb, and B) Stern will talk about her stealing his material.
But, in good jest (i hope) she played that "reject" theme song. I didn't hear it. But now i want to
