Conn. School of Broadcasting

Anyone heard anything about this Trade-School? They are offering summer classes for High School students and im thinking about taking one up. I mean imagine, with the way Cam Daddy is handing out weekend shows, who knows, maybe i could land a 1 hour free format rock show.....or maybe ill just be a dump-monkey...or maybe i wont even get to work at any stations.

If you know anything about this school, much appreciation to the people who can tell me what its like.

Reed, Ive been looking at this scholl ever since 4 years ago when my parents told me that they wouldnt pay for it becuase it wasnt acredited. To this day I still want to go there, but Im worried about Job placement.On top of that my Stepmother, who did alot of work with the media told me that the radio and TV careers pay lousey, and its hard to move up. Personally I think its Bullshit. Go for it and see where it gets you

Of course they pay lousy, its show biz. You dont get a huge paycheck right away, and if you go in from the CSB you probably wont get to be air-talent for a good while.

If you go through college your more than certified to be on air, and behind the consoles. So i would imagine that if you go through a college your gonna land a better gig.

I wanna take the CSB course since i know i wanna work in TV or Radio, on-air or producing, and id like to get a leg up on it, maybe even intern before i goto college.
