I am not the most religious person, but the events in the past few months looks like what was written in revelation. Wars, Plagues and Swarms of Locusts. Over the past few years we have seen the attacks on 9/11, west nile virus, SARS, The war in Iraq, Increased terrorism in the West Bank, Monkey Pox and now Swarms of Crickets out west. Armageddon or Coincidence?

according to insane illuminati/doomsday/nostradamus people, WWIII begins this year, follow by a few years of horrible death (2/3 of earth's population), then horrible poverty, climaxing at the official end of the world on december 23rd 2012

I hope so. This planet jumped the shark after the dinosaurs went extinct.

That's great, it starts with an earthquake
Birds and snakes, an aeroplane
Lenny Bruce is not afraid
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn
World serves its own needs, don't misserve your own needs
Feed it up a knock, speed, grunt no, strength no
Ladder structure clatter with fear of height, down height
Wire in a fire, represent the seven games
In a government for hire and a combat site
Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry
With the furies breathing down... your... neck
Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered crop
Look at that low plane!
Fine, then
Uh oh, overflow, population, common group, but it'll do
Save yourself, serve yourself
World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed
Tell me with the rapture and the reverent in the right... right?
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched...

It's the end of the world as we know it!

There's no better way to go. I don't have to watch my relatives die first. We all go together...

Here's to the apocolypse. (sound of bubbling bong)

Great I'll barely be able to celebrate my 27th. Maybe I'll do the half-birthday thing that year.

What Century hasnt all these things occured in.
Wars are a given and have happened in practicly every century if not all.

What locusts? and i wouldnt really call Sars or the West Nile excatly Plagues.

We Went to war with Iraq before and theres been terrorist attacks in isreal since WWII.

Monkey Pox is very rare, thge media is playing it off as something much bigger.

The crickets in the west are anything new, and besides, they're just fucking crickets, were not talking fire breathing people eating purple monsters (Barney).

Give me a break.

Guess what. Bad shit happened back in the 18 and 17 hundreds too. Only thing was there wasn't a bunch of 24 hour news stations to tell you about it when it happened. Plus, you couldn't get to any part of the world in a day's plane flight.

We're adjusting to a new era in human history and information exchange.

The world was always fucked up, it's just easier for the average person to see now.

Hey, if the world comes to an end, at least we can say "We saw the coolest shit!!". We saw moon landings, space shuttles blow up (2!!), diseases, extinctions, planetary impacts, 9-11, wars, nukes, flight, supersonic speed, and now, The End of the World!
In heaven, we will be the ones everyone comes and talks to!
"So oh, what was it like..?" :)

We're not in the Apocalypse and will not be.
The apocalypse and all that crazy stuff in the book of Revelation takes place in the "time of wrath", which, according to the Epistles, Christians are "saved out away from".

As all baseball fans know, the last sign of the apocolypse is game 7 of the World Series between the Sox and the Cubs.
God I hope it is the end....
