that's right, kiddies. this year's siren festival is coming to coney island on july 19, from noon until 9pm. some of the bands that have been announced are as follows:

hot hot heat
sahara hHotnights
radio 4
ted leo/pharmacists

the kills
northern state
the dirtbombs
the pattern
oneida
the witnesses

... and the whole thing is free!

I haven't heard of any of these bands, but any band called "!!!" has got to sound !

i really do wanna go see a couple of those acts. but indie rock + free admission + coney island in the summer is not an ideal setting to enjoy the music.
