I'm not sure if this Off Topic, Confessional, or Lounge, so I'll stick with lounge.
I know a few people here have done it, but I'm curious.... would you dress up in character for a movie premiere, contest, or sci-fi convention?
I used to think it was a bit geeky, but not anymore... I guess I'm just such a big fan of Halloween that I want to do it more than once a year.
I'm also not talking about your standard issue Star Trek uniform that you see at a typical convention. I'm talking something that takes creativity, passion, not something you can order out of a catalog.
Terminator 3 has a premiere party coming up. Yikes.

What type of costume? If it's jeans and a T-shirt count me in.
What type of movie? Adult? No costume necessary!

HK, the last visual I needed to think about this afternoon was you in an adult movie. :)

I wouldn't go in costume if I was in the movie.

No, becuase any costume I've ever gotten into has been incredibly uncomfortable. I hate costumes.

i'd want to be comfortable so it depends on "how much" costume you would have to wear...
if it includes alot of make-up, hair design, bulky clothing, masks, etc... then no thank you...
then again i wouldn't want to wear a tarzan outfit either...
depends

What the fuck are you going to wear? Leather jacket and sunglasses?

None of the above. Movies == Entertainment.

No, I wouldn't do it. It would be too dorky, even for me. If I was in the movie, I still wouldn't. It kind of screams "accept me! notice me!".
