I am still not sure about this one. The current Punisher run with Garth Ennis is one of my must-reads every month. However....I have hestitations about this big-screen adaptation.

does anyone remember the Punisher movie that came out (like an HBO Thurs night prime type of movie) with Dolph "Drago" Lungren and Lou "Iron Eagle" Gossit Jr? the idea of a movie is great but that movie sucked...

Punisher could be one of the better movie adaptations if they do it right...but Artison entertainment doesn't produce hits...outside of Blair Witch Project (the first one)

Artisan didn't produce Blair Witch, they only distributed it. The two guys behind the project were the ones who directed/produced/created the buzz/etc.

to be quite honest i think it looks rather solid...im wary only cause i thought the first hulk trailer was great and now i think that movies gonna be a steamer...but this can be done right considering its just like most mob stories of vengence and what not i mean its not like there isnt precedent.

Here are some new Punisher pics from the movie. At first I had reservations about this movie especially after Thomas Jane with Blonde hair in the trailer and that early shot of him. But now I think he's looking like Frank.

AGAIN, they still just have a skull on a t-shirt...go for the classic logo and make the teeth part of the cartridge belt...it always looked badass that way.
