I've been thinking a lot about this. There are enough creative people on this board to do something really fantastic. We would be our own crew...our own financiers...pooling our money and talent to make our very own movie. NO, it would not be about Ron & Fez or the board or anything having to do with the board. A completely original screenplay directed and produced by us to be submitted to any film festival we see fit. We could document the making of the movie on the website where it would be initially released to the public to be viewed by streaming quicktime.

Let's DO something with this board...something creative and fun...see where it takes us!

I'm more of a "brainstorming" guy. I mean I can show up to film, butmy schedule doesn't allow me to really be available on the weekends.

We can pretty much kill the action films. I mean, we wouldn't have a big budget. I'd say a comedy of sorts. And I don't think many of us are actors, so no drama. I guess a laid back, almost documentary type movie. Something that makes you feel like you're a fly on the wall to events that would have gone down anyway. Like Clerks or The Blair Witch Project without the horror.

How about a movie about 3 cars of people all going down to Washington,DC.

They all set out for different reasons. One of the cars can be a bunch of Ron and Fez fans going down there to a scheduled event. That way we can get the show in the movie. One car can be going to a large Metal show to get the Metal Heads in there. And the last group can be some art/history college kids going to some big museum in DC.

Along the way they'll all meet at a rest stop, and find out what they're all doing. Some kind of drama will start, and the movie can turn into a race.

But because of an accident on a major roadway, they'll all get stuck somewhere on the Turnpike and eventually realize how similar they all are, and just get a long.

Man, it writes itself.

Just had another idea.

How about a group of 7-10 people who all put 100 dollars each into a pool to buy lottery tickets for a state drawing that has reached a record jackpot.

Then, they all sit up the night before the drawing talking about their dreams for the money. One house, one group of board members. Staples can be the delivery man who drops off pizza.

There can be some in fighting and drama. Someone can come to terms with the recent death of a family member. Of course there's some drinking and weed smoking fun.

And we can call it "House of a Thousand Tickets"

OK. Revising my 2 brainstorming ideas into one better idea.

7-10 friends all partying for the weekend at someone's house before a roadtrip to DC.

Some joking around, eating, video games, girls, bacon, Staples delivering a pizza, and of course some internal drama.

By the sunrise of Monday morning, everyone has worked out their shit and discovered what has made them true friends. There's a big scene on the front porch at dawn, and then everyone loads into the van or 2 cars and pulls away.

The end.

I know that EVERYTHING in the middle needs to be written, but there's my skeleton of a story to be added onto.

That's about all I have tonight. I'm feeling strung out from lack of sleep, so SEE YUH!

One thing I would DEMAND if my ideas were used is that this movie doesn't wrap everything up in a "everything is great" kind of sappy ending.

A more realistic ending needs to be reaced. Maybe 2 of the guys CAN'T resolve their problem but respectfully decide to be men about it for the trip and just keep their distance but still have a good time.

One thing I HATE is the guy who has had a crush on a girl since 5th grade finally gets a date with her. Maybe in THIS movie they talk and he understands how his crush on her was foolish, or she flat out tells him no chance in hell.

I don't know, just something without a "and they lived happily ever after" ending. That's not real life.

I have tons of ideas for movies. One idea is about a mouse that kills all the local cats with a gun because a dog tells him to. The mouse's name would be David Rodentwitz and I envision it like Finding Nemo only it would be live action so we would have to train the mouse/star to handle a gun and would have to get permission from local police to shoot cats with uzi's; preferably in a town with a bowling alley because when we're done with shooting we could bowl and play X-Men arcade.
