where will he b in october? the nets? spurs? mavs? MAVS?????? thats rite the mavs. the mavs may execute a sign and trade deal. so the mavs would get jason kidd back, and the nets would get nash and van exel. i think that would help both teams out incredibly and i actually think the nets get the most out of it. they get nash who may not b jason kidd but he still a premier point guard in the league, and they get van exel who is a jump shooter that the nets need. as for the mavs they get a better defending point guard, but they lose their 6th man. the nets should take advantage of this trade.
but im not a net fan, what do u guys thing?

I like the idea of getting Nash. He may never be as good as Kidd, but he'll be close, and he's a much better shooter than Kidd. Nash is also on the way up while Kidd has probably already peaked. I don't feel comfortable with Van Exel, but who else are you gonna get? Nowitzki? Yeah right! Finley? Ehh. LaFrentz? No.
I'd take the deal. I think the way Kidd has acted since the Finals suggests he wants out. He said all the right things while he was here, but it seems now that the opportuniy to leave has come, he's eager to leave.
But I do question whether this is legitimate. If I were the Mavs, no way would I trade Van Exel and Nash for Kidd.
I still have a feeling that Kidd is headed for the Spurs, even though it makes no sense. The Spurs offense would slow down Kidd, neutralizing some of his biggest strengths.
I hope Rod Thorn at least tries to explore a Martin, Jefferson, and Kittles for Kevin Garnett trade. If that happened, Kidd would be crazy to leave.

I hate Kidd but the Mav's would be getting the WAY better deal. Nash is a good player but its because he plays well in their system. Put him in charge of the Nets and you'll see a big letdown. Van Exel is so inconsistant. Didnt have have one game where he scored 45+ and then the next under ten in the playoffs. I just want Kidd outta the East. Him, his media-whore wife and their kid who has a head the size of a beachball.
