A few months ago, WJFK in DC moved Ron and Fez to the midnight shift - tape delay from noon. This last week, with the BIG shift in the line-up of the station, they have gone back to 11pm here. It's still tape delayed, but for some reason it's easier to listen to than the way it was before.

Actually, here in Washington they are on opposite Love Line.

Anyway, this could be one reason why suddenly your board has been over-run by people who like Ron and Fez but don't hate Stern or Don and Mike.

I really don't think it's a huge conspiracy of other show fans flooding your board- I just think it's that people, who are fans of those other shows, are now able to hear Ron and Fez again at a slightly better time slot, and they also like what they hear.

For me, I was a Stern fan since high school, back before he went to NY. I still listen out of habit, and while he's not as funny as he was 5 or 10 years ago, it's still a better show than ANYTHING on in DC at that hour. Today I laughed out loud more than once, and that's all I really need on the way into work.

Don And Mike - it took awhile to warm up to them, but once I did I also enjoyed their show. Don can be an annoying prick sometimes, but once again it's familiarity. I will miss them now that they are on during the day, but life does go on.

Ron And Fez - It took about two shows before I got hooked. I love the opening song, and the way they talk with each other. I am very happy they are back on at 11pm - they make a wonderful audio backdrop while surfing the net before going to bed.

O&A - I have given them a shot each day this week, and will continue for another week. Maybe a year from now I'll "get it," but so far I think I only laughed once, and that was the story of Anthony losing his virginity.

That's it from me. Thanks for letting me ramble.

I just get my radio plug my headphones in close my eyes to rest (im still awake), and listen .

I first got hooked onto ron and fez when i heard the cow and chicken theme song, and i thought, what the f? Then i heard ICP (my fav group), and then i heard it was on WJFK (my fav station) and i heard a gay guy (which seemed funny , which i realized a couple of days later, he had a fiancee in canada, *lol*).
And ive been listening since january, and i listen EVERY i mean EVERY night.

O and A : so far they are ok, nothing fantastic, but hey, they are a whole hell of a lot better than don and mike.:)

I'm a fellow DC listener. I've been listening to R&F almost since they've been on here in DC...I'd say close to a year now. At first, I HATED them. I would listen to the replay of the Sports Junkies (our local sports show...sort of like the Sports Guys, I guess), and I hated these two guys who sounded as if they sucked helium before they did their broadcast.

Then one night I heard them doing a show with Hannah, and I thought, "This is the weirdest, most fucked up thing I've heard in a long time." Ever since, I was hooked, and R&F are just about my favorite thing in all of radio. I look forward to staying up till 3 to listen to the whole show.

Stern? Stern is tired. I've listened to him for about five years, because as Pressure mentioned there really isn't much else on in the mornings, and in just that relatively short period of time his show has declined quite a bit. It really sounds odd to say this, but I miss Jackie. At least I could count on Jackie making me laugh now and again (hell, just them goofing on Jackie could be very funny). I'm not interested in hearing Stern share the same, old, lame-ass jokes I've heard a thousand times before with A.J. freakin' Benza.

Don and Mike are the worst. I'm so glad O & A replaced them. They were only number one because there was little to nothing else on in their time slot (they would argue that they had strong competition, but for fans of "shock jock radio", Dr. Laura isn't exactly a suitable alternative). All of their bits are tired. Don runs the show so that it centers around him, which is sad, because not only is he not an interesting human being, but he's nowhere near as talented as Mike (who, unfortunately, has to kiss Don's ass because Don is so insecure because Don knows that he's regarded, accurately, as the less talented of the two). How many hours of every day are devoted to talking to Don's wife Frieda on the phone, or listening to the "exploits" of his gay son Bart? The show is played. I'm sad to see WNEW pushing it over R&F, but that's what you get, cause Ken and Jeremy won't let nature take it's course and send these two geezers to their graveyard.

O&A are pretty good....I've listened to them all this week, and I'm enjoying it. The Ron Reagan bit alone is more entertaining, and more risque, than anything Don and Mike would do. I'm just glad we have a good afternoon show here in D.C.

Here's hoping that R&F will soon be live in D.C.!
