Well since schools out and summers in that means Im gonna be up till 5 am every night doing nothing much. This is cool and all because staying up is cooler then sleeping, even if all I do is listen to music. But as im sitting here now watching some Saturday Night Live rerun im starting to get bored. I flipped through the channels quick but cant seem to find anything worth keeping on.

So what TV shows get you fellow insomniacs through the night? Or is posting on this board all you do?

Listen Kid. Do yourself a favor and just stay on a sleep schedule similar to the one you kept in school.

TV is a wasteland at night. I get by with Duckman, SNL reruns, The Critic, Teh Kids in the Hall, The Powerpuff Girls and assorted shows on Food, History and other such educational channels.

You are not missing any really good late night programming.

The problem with Comedy Central is one night a week they'll play a few Kids in the Hall shows, and then play a Sports Night marathon. FUCK YOU SPORTS NIGHT!!!

They have no consistent program schedule that I can depend on.

If you have a high speed connection, look for video or games online if you MUST stay up.

i know it's cool now, but after you get out of school, staying up gets gay quick.

Thats the problem, I havent had a regular sleeping pattern for like 2 1/2 years. During the school year I dont go to sleep till around 2, I think I fucked up my sleeping so bad the last couple of years that I developed a sleeping problem.

I was an insomniac in like 6th grade.

back then was A LOT worse! It was all REALLY BAD movies and reruns. But that was the cream of the crop compaired to the INFOMERCIALS!!!!!

I knew EVERYTHING there was to know about Deal and Meal and DD-7.

Listen, if you THINK you have a problem, just stay up ALL NIGHT. Stay up all day. DO NOT NAP. Then, later that night, you'll feel all strung out and tired, and hopefully fall asleep when you want to.

Im all for the Comedy central part of your schedule, but its the real after hours/wee hours of the morning that im having trouble with.

I cant stand anything on MTV and all I see besides that is infomercials. I guess there just isnt anything on past 4 AM.

Yea, agreed. 4 AM is the time when TV goes in the crapper.

On a positive note, I think ABC has a live overnight newcast that starts at like 3 or 3:30 AM. So you can catch up to the minute network news if that's you bag. I like FOX and MSNBC to a lesser extent, but they're all tape overnight, except for the half hour newsbreak.

Same here. Only my sleeping problem = Listening to RnF on tape delay, and I havn't been the same since. Its a bitch that last week of summer trying to get back on schedule so you sit up in your bed for hours on hours starting at 11pm.

Im big into the old school nickelodeon late nights, Legends of the Hidden Temple, GUTS, Double Dare, Wild and Crazy Kids, Nick arcade...that should get you through the night.

Is that on digital cable or something? I'd like to see those old, shitty shows.

Any You Can't do that on Television reruns?

Yea, I dont get any of those old school Nickolodeon shows. I get like Threes Company and shit overnights on Nick.

I think getting digital cable would probably end this overnight boredom, but my poor ass mom cant afford high-class, 300-channel cable.

Archived "R & F" and "O & A" shows is how I spend late nights. For example, I am listening to an "O & A" show from 4-4-00 which was the staged Staples Vs. Mohr fight right now.

I don't know. You said staying up is better then sleeping. I think you've got that wrong. But I got insomnia too, or something like that. Watch comedy central. And hey, infomercials can be quite funny, you see the one with the twin midgets in suits. Now thats great.

I'm not sure if you get the channels but Food Network and Game Show Network is how I spend my overnights in the summer.

If you get into the shows they can become very addictive.
