Since there are a few softball threads floating around, this is for the people who are traveling by the LIRR. I will be catching the 11:05 out of Penn Station at Jamaica station at 11:26. I will be in the first car and hopefully will run into some of the others deeks going to this shindig. I'm sure we can arrange rides from our more kind-hearted fellow board members at Amityville since the station isn't really that far from the field.
See you tomorrow with bells on!!!

I will attempt to meet the 11:05 train at the Amityville train station (or I will send other people in my place if need be) - so I will be there around 12.
If you don't know me or my car, look for a blue Jeep Cherokee with a thule rack on top and a hundred gazillion stickers (inclueding R&F and O&A) on the back. I can only really fit four people, but we can squish and/or shuttle back and forth if I am the only one driving.

okay so when we get off the train what exactly should we do?
I see that you may be running back and forth with people....If all goes according to schedule I will be arriving at 11:39....in order to try to make things easier for everyone you will recognize me by the following things:
1) I will be carrying a piece of cardboard that says RF.Net on it
2) I will be wearing a sky blue shirt that has the number 7 on the back
3) I will have a cooler with ice cream sandwiches in it
4) I will be accompanied by a lovely young lady who will be carrying 1, maybe 2 beach chairs
Will someone please look for me???????? hopefully Too Cute with a ride

I shall endeavor to meet the 11:39 train as well. When you get off the train, just walk down the steps and if you don't see me, hang out by the ticket machine (which is right outside the ticket office and next to the newspaper stand. it is all very small you can't miss it).
If you get really impatient and bored and I'm not there though justc all a cab like the chairman posted earlier. It will only cost you about $5.
If there are any otehr volunteers with cars it looks like there may be more people than I can fit on the 12:10 train.
