he was arrested in trinidad a couple years ago for swearing. the laws in the carribean are very different than the US. most countries there have no drinking age. but they have a problem with swearing, not iin conversation, but in public forums. there was a song in the early 90's that contained the words "paul your mother come, paul your mother come" and it was not allowed to b played on the radio cuz of "your mother"

The song wasn't banned because of 'your mother'. It was banned on some stations because 'mother come' sounded (intentionally) a little too much like 'mother cunt', which is the Trinidadian version of 'motherfucker'. And you really can't have some dude blaring 'motherfucker' over the radio.

speaking of DMX...

he actually lives in my town (suburban westchester, how ghetto fab) and my father keeps telling me that he talks to him all the time in CVS at night (where he works) and I keep calling him a liar.

Today I went to my dad's house and found this on the fridge:
