There's the 3rd. Peck, Hepburn, and Buddy. What a damn shame.

His stand up show from 1983 was actually the very first comedy show I ever saw. It was on HBO and for some strange reason, my father allowed my younger brother and I to watch it. We taped it and watched religiously for years. I was only 8 at the time and my brother was 6. It was hysterical then and it became funnier as I got older and understood the jokes.

Thats a shame. I never actually saw him perform on TV or nothin, but I had heard of him often. Its a pretty sad thing to hear of him passing.

He was just a judge on Last Comic Standing. This sucks. He was a funny guy...and the Toronto Maple Leafs headcoach, Pat Quinn, looked like him.

I have practiced, wrote and performed comedy for most of my life and Buddy Hackett was the very first comedian I studied and loved. I have seen just about all his specials and I regard him as one of the funniest men ever. All of my love and respect goes out to this icon of comedy, I love ya baby!

I have to agree with Funkman- I saw Hackett years ago out in Vegas and after about 15 minutes, I had to leave due to the gratuitious obscenity- I's can only takes so much!!

I remember him as a kid when he was the spokes man for tuscan ice cream.
I love you, lorena (aggie).

I have to agree with Funkman Reeshy, for me it was just a matter of expectation... i would have pictured Buddy doing more of a Jerry Lewis type act but it was dirtier than a Redd Foxx act. Watching Buddy talk to people in the audience saying things like "eating pussy, cunt, and blowjob" just didn't seem to fit him...or my picture of him...
