A namw change again for Billy Staples Confessional

With Billy off the show, are we going to change the name again, like we did when Al left the show?

I never understood the reason behind it. the Billy Staples Confessional makes less sense than the Al Dukes Confessional. Al's confession was an actual well known bit.

I can't believe you took a swipe at Frenchie and her post. Hers was one of the most heartfelt and wonderful tributes to Ron and Fez and you call her thread "needless?" Some of us are actually friends with Ron and Fez and we actually miss them and the staff. And they actually are friends with us and miss us too.

Maybe it's just me, but, I thought that the Softball game was supposed to be 'for fun'.

Everyone who played with the type of attitude that it was a life-or-death situation really looked miserable out on the field. . . the folks who played for the sheer joy of playing - Billy, Amy, MikeyD - seemed to be having a better time.

This thread isn't about how lousy Matt played on Saturday. Nor is it about sniping at each other.

Please. In my opinion, this type of posting is turning the board into "Drama Club". We've spent too much time together, cooped up in our little Internet bubble, fighting from behind our monitors and over distances best covered in cars.

According to the FAQ, sniping and personal attacks aren't allowed. So, FBP's comment about Tenbats falls under that, too.

To tell the truth, no matter what he does, even if it's a genuine attempt to change, all of you here at the board will only expect certain negative behaviors of him. . . and, of course, no matter what he does, he'll be living up to that expectation. You're making it easier and easier for him not to try.

This used to be a fun place to hang out, but I'm sick and tired of this back-and-forth insult barrage.

Not that I'll be missed, but, I'm leaving and not coming back. What's the point if, when looking for something to brighten my day, I'm faced with insults and high school crap that only brings me down?
