I was sorting through my MP3's as I worked out today and as many time as Ive seen my offspring folder Ive never played anything from it in over a year. Finally today after getting sick of ever other song I have on my play list I through on "Pretty fly" Its funny I still know the lyrics to that song

they were doing great in the buisness until people realized they were basically making the same song over and over again. they went really mtv and that was the last of them pretty fly was probably thier pinnacle and thier downfall. pretty sad i did like the lead singers voice

yes but offspring was a punk band, americana is a poppy punk rock album, its not the offspring. just like once black album came out, metallica became a rock band. not to say the music sucks, the curcumstance just does. i like some rock metallica and i like americana, but its not the same

The diffrence bewteen offspring and metallica is, offspring changed there music a little, they tweaked it over the line into somewhat pop territory, while metallica completely sold out and made shit albums after the black one. Pretty fly for a white guy, and why dont you get a job, were indeed, MTV songs but the rest of the album isnt as nice like the one song about the neighborhood going to hell (forgot the name).

well i agree that metallica had a downfall, but you cant sell out when your millionaires. they changed their style to rock, maybe they got old i dont know, and as rock music its not bad compared to its contemporaries. but to call them metal just makes me sick and i hate callin them metallica

If they had gotten rid of lars and bob rock, and if cliff burton didnt die i beleive theyd still be making good music today...too bad we dont have a flux capicitor...damn. They seriously need to get rid of lars though, he sucks.

He made the guys get sobered up, and for that, he should be condemmed to hell, because thats the real problem. They stopped smoking and drinking after the black album and thats why they suck now.
