Just saw the Foo's at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan last night. If you can get into the city and get some scalped tickets....YOU MUST! There is the 2nd show tonight and the doors open at 6.

This show was truly inspiring. An hour and a half of some of the greatest rocks songs out there today.

If you are a fan of rock music in the 90's and today then this is the show for you.

Unfortunately Pete Yorn opened for them last night...and he is such a dull and stale act that Helen literally was falling asleep during his set...There was a redeeming quality to the opening act that went on before Pete Yorn though.

My Morning Jacket!!!
A great southern rock revival band from Louisville Kentucky. They were quite good and I can recommend a DL or two from these guys. Full of enegy and great tunes.

Overall, Dave Grohl and the boys put on a fantastic show full of our generations great rock anthems with killer showmanship and musicianship.

A must see.

The last time I saw the Foo Fighters was in 1996 at Roseland. They were great. I also saw them in 1995 as an opening act for Mike Watt from Firehose. Eddie Vedder also played at this show in disguise with another band.

Too bad I can't check out the Fighters this time around.

I had the pleasure of seeing when they came to Dallas and it was my sister's first concert. They were absolutely great live, I like them even more now.

The Trasplants opened for them, I wasn't feeling them.

I'd be more excited about seeing Peter Yorn. He's an extraordinary songwriter
