I have another observation.
If he really wanted to see if she read the message that he sent her, he could have checked the send status. Most email programs will tell you if the message has been read, deleted or unopened.
He didnt need to actually go into her account.
Very shakey.
Plus I think she was probably just a tramp.

I didn't hear the part of the show about the e-mail, but most e-mail programs do NOT tell you if the e-mail has been read, unless you turn on "return receipt requested" in the preferences. And most people don't. The most he'd know is whether or not he sent it.

True, I guess I just assumed she used AOL, in which case it would've been automatic.
I still think she was up to no good.
